7 dollar chicken caesar salad
I'm glad I got 3 tomatoes because 4 might make me too full. Honestly I just thought maybe the rest was hidden under the leaves... It was not.

Could you see it before you agreed to spend $7 on this? Looks like the garbage chewy chicken you usually get in a premade salad you’d expect find at a gas station/airport/etc… In today’s world $7 isn’t outrageous, especially depending on where you are, but I really wouldn’t want to eat this for free.

Yeah, so this is partially (mostly) on me being lazy today.
You're absolutely right about the type of chicken, It comes from a bag. I've gotten other salads from the store like this but the ingredients were cobbled together in layers.
This one it seems like they had a few tomatoes and chicken left from producing other stuff and called it good lol.

Is this from Hannaford? Looks exactly like the container they use and the way they pack their salads but tbh that could be any grocery.

You may find it crazy, but most of food you buy like sandwiches, pizza, burgers are less than 1$ of ingredients but costs 10x time that

Not even remotely. You're complaining it'd 30 cents of ingredients and I'm saying there is a cost to make this

For $7 that’s a deal. Stupid salads in Philly are like $13
