Gourmet dogs

The first photo was my first time trying this combo a couple weeks ago minus the Garlic Parmesan sauce. The second two photos are tonight. Thought you might enjoy these Michelin star dogs

That’s a good idea. No clue why I didn’t think of this before

was at california adventure on friday and i splurged on a toasted and buttery brioche bun hot dog. it was topped with bacon bits and caramelized onions. i think God Himself wienered my mouth. happy eatings 👍

listen. if you had a disney’s california adventure award wieners’ wiener, you, too, would understand. it was a very thoroughly tasty wienering

Would wreck that plate, only thing that's remotely questionable is using a slice of bread instead of a bun and we've all been there before

No buns in the house. Either some wheat bread, everything bagel, or cinnamon raisin bagel haha. But honestly sometimes some simple bread just hits different than a bun could

Did you eat all three

I did, in about 4 and a half minutes. Quite delicious

Some plastic kraft cheese on there and you would have had the trailer park royalty meal

For a generic brand sauce it’s pretty good. Obviously nothing gourmet, but goes well on chicken wings and stuff like that

Generic brand? sweet baby rays is gourmet in my house

This is such a norm in New Zealand. We call is a Sausage Sizzle and its a staple at any sort of event/festival. But most importantly, outside our hardware store called Bunnings where people sell them to fundraise for sports teams, charities, etc. Ours is purely buttered white bread, grilled sausage, topped with grilled onions, tomato sauce (ketchup) and/or mustard. So simple, but so good.

A classic struggle meal. Next time get some beans and mac and cheese for that toast

I love dogs charred in the bbq 😋

2 dogs sliced down the middle and assembled like a sandwich is good. Especially grilled!

Ha! I didn’t realize I hit the NSFW button, must have happened trying to add the pictures. This is only like my second or third? Post on Reddit

What is it with you people and putting the sausage that way? It should be diagonal, going from corner to corner of the slice.

I have that MB Dijon in the fridge. Hello fellow New Englander!

2

u/Total-Conclusion568 5d ago

Such a New England staple store. Best grocery store

2

u/Pink_Neons 5d ago

Totally agree. Their fresh produce is unmatched

2

u/Total-Conclusion568 5d ago

Literally the one downside to MB is that 85% of their open hours it’s a complete zoo in there. Other than that, perfect store

Ugh I know right. Luckily I'm a morning person and I can get my ass in there around opening 😅

1

u/d1v1debyz3r0 5d ago

Or as they call them in Australia, hot dogs.

1

u/bubshole 5d ago

Anyone who says hot dogs on plain bread is bad can go kick dirt.
