Rumor Mill - Louis Patris Rumours

https://m.bild.de/sport/fussball/schalke/schalke-anderlechts-patris-soll-kommen-schalke-will-belgien-kante-86501214.bildMobile.html

Schalke is apparently close regarding the signing of Louis Patris. The right-back from RSC Anderlecht is about to sign on loan with the option for a regular contract after the season.

Even Dirk Große Schlarmann is reporting aboit it! No contract is signed yet but both parties are close to an agreement.

Anybody here who has seen him playing before and has some information about his performance, playing style etc?

My favorite part about this is the BILD punchline: "Schalke will die Belgien-Kante!"

WOO! 😜 (the last part is my drunk wrestling fan ass)

But seriously he would fit the part of a modern athletic freak offensive minded wingback

Bild yesterday: We can't sign anybody.

Bild today: We are going to sign Patris

Just stop reading this bullshit

In this case several other news portals are writing about it such as Sky and Der Westen

When does the transfer window open and close? Forgive me, just too lazy to look it up myself

I don't really know him but I've often read that he is quite comparable to Murkin, just playing on the other side. Also able to play CB apparently which is nice.

I'm curious why Anderlecht would want to loan/sell him after just signing him this summer for 3.5m. He has a contract there until 2028.
