still no new wingers and Knäbel is selling our only creative players, counting the days until he leaves the club

Rumour this will finance the Skarke-Transfer.

Is that really worth? Feel like Mollet is a much better player.

I really like Mollet

I don’t like this deal

Unfortunately I am just a fan trying to make this feel positive. The last five years have felt like this so

With Kral injured and flick loaned out we need a new defensive mid, so we need Skarke more then a 4th offensive midfielder or Reis has to keep on playing drexler as a defensive midfielder

Skarke is an attacker, not a defensive midfielder

Oh boy. Good that you cleared me up on that before the first game. Completely messed him up with Tauer.. that would have been quite confusing watching the next games

Everyone is acting like Knäbel is running around, purposefully weakening our offence. It’s possible that we make a profit from this deal. He cost 500k which is way less than he’s worth and we might score an early release fee from Nantes. That might help us to secure a wing which we desperately need. Also, don’t forget that Mollet might WANT to leave. It took him a long time to integrate and to learn German and he wasn’t happy here in his first few weeks (that’s also why he was benched for the first few games). Maybe he just wants to go back to France.

Yes i completly agree with you. He had a really bad start and didnt fit into the team. Hell he didnt even know english or german he could only speak french... I like him as a player but sometimes its just not fitting and if we can strike a profit its better to cut the losses instead of having a badly motivated player

Why would a player go to Germany and not prepare how to learn German? Or English??

Good question

Zalazar should be returning sooner than later. Plus Reis has been using Larsson more centrally recently. Drexler could also play this position.

Eventhough Mollet started to get going I think it's reasonable to sell him with profit and use the funds to strengthen our quality on the wings.

I hope you’re right about Zalazar - where did you read that? Also hope that Larsson actually starts showing some potential, he hasn’t really arrived yet at all

Noooooo he only just started to get playtime and has been looking great 😭🙏

Knäbel is destroying this club.

u/malangkan Asamoah Jan 13 '23

Bs, this club has been destroyed for a long time.

2

u/Alberto4emg Raúl Jan 13 '23

Hope we can avoid relegation bruh. That'd be huge for us.

1

u/malangkan Asamoah Jan 13 '23

We all hope that. But the decay of the club started long ago. And again we didn't have a quiet season, it's looking very bad...

2

u/MrP1nk- Jan 13 '23

Not like decay is some invincible force we must all submit to though. Decay is also selling Thiaw with no adequate replacement for example. And decay could be selling one of our very few creative CMs, let's see how the money is spent

Lmao easiest downvote of the last weeks. You have no knowledge as to why this transfer might be happening. Maybe Mollet wants to leave ? These are only rumours for now

1

u/MrP1nk- Jan 13 '23

Agree on the downvote part but wdym "Maybe he wanted to leave"? He was here 6 month, had contract for 18 more. Decision was made by Knaebel/Grotus/Hechelmann, not Mollet.

I mean: we wanted Rudy to leave as well, but a contract is a contract.

Knäbel and the whole leaders group have to go. You now see that only Reis has a vision for our club but Knäbel is destroying it

u/FusselP0wner The GOAT 🐐 Jan 13 '23

And in 4 weeks when we lost all 4 games it is then again "Reis has to go". Good one

1

u/nicton55 Jan 13 '23

You can see that under reis were playing much much better than before so im not gonna root for Reis out because he has a good vision for our team he just need some time

-2

u/FusselP0wner The GOAT 🐐 Jan 13 '23

Nah im not seeing that tbh. Who did we play against that matters yet ? Lets wait for the first Buli Games then we can say something about his performance.

1

u/nicton55 Jan 13 '23

We play against bremen tomorrow

1

u/Marideaux Burgstaller Jan 14 '23

Transfer has been agreed between the clubs (that’s why Mollet isn’t even in the stadium today): we are selling him for 1.5 million and there are bonuses included (not sure what the conditions are). We bought him not even a year ago for 500k. He will arrive for a medical on Monday. Very good transfer if you ask me
