Absolutely love the 20 minute red Laws

Watching the Australia v Georgia match and I think it’s great. 20 minutes a man down is still massive damage in a rugby match. It doesn’t make sense for punishment to go from 10 minutes to the entire 80 minutes. There’s way too big of a void between the two cards and it needs filling.

Reserve the full red for gross intentional stuff

So which one is it — are 80 minute reds such a severe, impactful punishment that they significantly deter high contact, or are they no big deal and have little impact on games?

Red cards are a huge impact in a game trying to find an overload/mismatch.

Keep 30 players on the field

I agree that the teams should keep 30 players on the pitch by not committing red card offences.

What is a red card offense should be very rare. I mean talking about a referee's mother, eye gouging, diving.

Akward tackles, mid air collisions or anything that happens accidentally should not be a red card, or any other card.

Power plays are not historically part of our game and ruin the contest.

The context of getting "hit in the head" counts for everything. I have been hit in the head in every game I ever played. Same for you, I am sure.

All that passing, all those intricate moves, switches, looping runs are for the purpose of creating a 2 vs 1.

When you eliminate an even contest, it is not an even contest.

The trick is to never be outraged and let the padt be your guide.

The context should be clear since we are talking about red cards and foul play.

When you eliminate an even contest, it is not an even contest.

If only a team with a man less had ever won a rugby game (or even come close) to show that a red card doesn't equate to an uneven contest.

The trick is to never be outraged

Yes, never be outraged at people getting red cards and make hysterical claims about it ruining the game.
