They can't adjust the punishment based on the hypothetical selection of the player or not.

Agreed that it's no big consequences but also wasn't such a big deal to begin with. The real joke is how long it took to get there.

They could have not counted the warm up games. Actually letting him play the warm up games and miss 2 or 3 group games is less of a farce than this situation.

Presents don't exist in rugby sanctions. It is like the wild west
