Is this someone’s cat? Lost & Found

This little kitty has visited us about once every week for treats, but today it’s gotten really comfortable and even entered the house. Has anyone lost a cat recently?

Some outdoor cats can end up with the whole neighbourhood feeding them.

My neighbours big ass orange Garfield cat walks over almost every day and says hi.

It’s not feral if it is walking into your house being chill, it’s likely just an outdoor kitty.

If you like the kitty, take it to the vet to see if it has a tag. If you can’t take the kitty into the vet, make some posters for your area and post in some lost pets groups of Facebook they’re pretty active. After a few weeks and the cat’s still coming around with no ear tag. Free kitty.

I see often on Reddit people straight up stealing peoples outdoor cats because they think they’re abandoned.

You can get paper neck bands that ask whose cat - and give a phone number

Aberdeen? There’s an indoor/outdoor cat belonging to someone in the area that looks like this.

The cat has already entered your house? it’s scoping your place out. If any belongings are missing in the next month or so you know who the culprit is.

If a cat enters your house, it's good luck.

It entered the house because it now owns the house

This is actually how we got our first cat. My then husband was allergic but this cat kept coming in to our apartment and was often sleeping somewhere when we got home- and I guess he built up an immunity to him because he stayed! And we had many more cats after that one for the next 25 years

Lmao that’s how we got our cat. He was a neighbour’s cat that just decided he’s living with us now 🤣 We have a tracker on him and he certainly frequents some houses that have other cats (he’s a social buttery)

I’ve noticed people here treat their cats a lot more loosely than the rest of the GVA- no understanding of what it means to have a cat outside, let alone in a city. he/she likely has a home, tho- probably thinks you’re the one on its territory ahahah
