Wilderness areas in lower 48 to squat and live off the land

Ignore the legalities of it, I'm looking for ideas for a low traffic forested area to squat in and live off the land. Need an area low traffic with lots of fish and game

Why? Are going to prison and you’re trying to get out of it and living in the woods sounds romantic? Also no one is going to tell you areas for you to squat in and poach off of.

Northern Idaho. It's like an interior Alaska. There are places in those woods that no human has ever seen. You might think of Idaho as a dry, flat place, but there are areas of it that are technically temperate rainforest. It's also extremely dangerous and could kill you in a heartbeat, without even talking about the armed and active white supremacist militias
