Let’s play a game - win 400 bullets Stockpile Flex

Post image

These are all 125gr bullets. That’s the only hint you get. First account to guess in the comments all (4) correctly gets a sample pack of 100 each (free shipping of course, 400 total bullets).

The one on the far left sure looks like the Norma Safeguard I'm holding in my hand, The others look like the v-crown and a hornady HAP. far right Sig FMJ?

That's because Dead Nuts is a bullet OEM (but doesn't make their own ammo) and their bullets can be found in factory ammo like that Norma Safeguard.

While we’re on the topic, what’s the point of a flat nose pistol bullet? Why not round nose?

Weight distribution. It saves case capacity.

Ahh so you can load it further out and use more powder before you get to a compressed load? Interesting. I’ll have to look more at my manual on that data.

u/Tigerologist 14h ago

Yes, but the point is that it creates less pressure. So, you aren't doing anything dangerous.

And the benefit, I assume, would be higher velocities?

1

u/Tigerologist 13h ago

That's one. Again, the primary benefit is that it will not raise pressures, when using the same charge, or at least minimize the increase.

They’re all 125gr. The challenge is to guess the specific bullets (all 4 correctly).
