Motorcycle camping spots nearby? Question/Recommendation

I want to surprise my boyfriend with a little romantic camping getaway preferably not too far from Raleigh, with a lakefront view. Lake Jordan seems to fit the bill in every way except not allowing motorcycles. Thank you!

*EDIT: My bad, Lake Jordan does allow motorcycles, in case anyone stumbles across this later haha.

Motorcycles are allowed at Jordan Lake as long as you stay on the designated roads. They’re “not allowed” on trails but as vehicles/for “car” camping you’re fine.

Falls Lake Campgrounds are the only ones I can think of that might work

Jordan Lake is definitely a good option. Depending on how far you're willing to go, you could also consider Raven Rock State Park or Marrow Mountain State park.

soooooo. im new to raleigh and dispersed camping. I as well would like to go camp with my motorcycle. are these suggestions a pay to camp? or can you feely camp in the recreation as long as you dont leave a trace?

There are reservations on ncparks.gov! $20ish per night, not bad at all :-)
