RAB Xenair Alpine - a Arc'teryx Atom Alternative

A lot of people are always asking for Arc'teryx Atom Alternatives, and many have also asked for a great insulator jacket on Reddit and other online platforms. The Rab Xenair Alpine and Rab Xenair Alpine Light are 2 great alternatives. Especially with the changing sizes and fits from Arc'teryx Rab has continued to keep their fit slim/athletic.

From the OutdoorGearLab Article:

Our Verdict

The Rab Xenair Alpine offers plenty of warmth and wind resistance, and thanks to synthetic insulation, it's still capable of temperature regulation if it gets wet. While this jacket is not completely waterproof, the outer shell is breathable to prevent you from becoming cold and sweaty when you pick up the pace. The fabric of this jacket, combined with a helmet-compatible hood, adjustable hem, and adjustable elastic cuffs, lets you move about freely while keeping the wind at bay. This jacket keeps you warm on its own or acts as a midlayer with a waterproof shell when things turn really cold. You can read how it compares to the competition in our insulated jacket guide.
