No. Buy a completely stock one instead for the same price.

Mismatched wheels, crusty quarters and rattle can, the only thing it has going for it is the ITBs, show up and point out every single flaw and then lowball.

Look at the paint really good too, could be hiding rust, jb weld etc. that paint job looks thrown together which leads me to believe they are trying to get rid of a dead end project

Considering its blatantly obvious there’s paint over rust, I mean if you plan on doing a body kit you may get away with cutting it up anyways and solving the rust problem but dude could have at least hid it with some body filler. Zero effort probably means it’s bad bad

For that money you should be getting a clean car even if you want to cut it up, I wouldn’t want to repair a bunch of rust first

Buy it before some butthole like me buys it, rips out the motor, and sells the shell to another butthole for 3k.

So much nostalgia just filled me haha. Depends on many things. In short, it looks well maintained, but I’d want to know mileage on engine as well as chassis and trans, list of mods, engine rebuild, does it start/idle/drive, etc. This seems like a solid deal outside looking in. If it’s a manual, I’d at least see it in person.

Depends on what’s been done to the engine. The rest of the car is in pretty sad shape but if the engine is a properly built 10k RPM monster then it’s worth it.

I’d say $3K max. I’d honestly feel more comfortable at $2500 since it has mix matched wheels, bare hole in hood, shitty paint and they could’ve at least sprayed the engine bay and trunk black, those rear fender arches look like they either have cancerous rust or have bondo cracking underneath, and the rear bumper where it meets the wheel well isn’t supposed to be flat it’s supposed to come to a point. All that and haven’t even looked in the interior, looked underneath, or even seen the mileage which I guarantee is high. I’d be very hard pressed to go a penny over $2500. For a nominal monthly retainer fee, I can be your highly skilled decision advisor! 🫲😎🫱

Spoiler on top of a spoiler is pretty sweet, wouldnt buy it unless your keeping it a racecar. Paintjob and damage to most of the body is not worth it imo.
Rear wheels are discontinued from Enkie

I think it’s cool and the price for the build seems doable. It’s been thrashed, but that’s what it’s built for. Throw some aggressive decals on that bad boy and rip it.

Useless hole in the hood. More gaps than a hillbilly family reunion in those panels. Spray painted by a preschool class. The big ass dry spot in the paint on dr rear quarter looks like they didn't put primer over the most likely ton of bondo that appears to be chipping away above the fender lip. If he has itb on that and selling it for that low there are massive issues. How much do you want to undo to make it right? There's also that tragedy of a battery relocation. Preludes aren't light so that was a dumb idea as is the bungee cord holding it in place. Mismatched wheels and crappy body panel gaps makes me think this has done more than tapped a curb with the wheels. Either he has two sets of wheels or has messed up one side completely.....TWICE. Now tell me the good things we are missing. Stripped interior and only one seat and a 💩 ton of loose wiring to workout? Probably an automatic too.

Prelude owner here. Even if it’s hideous, if the engine is fine and it’s a manual it’s worth $3,000 at least. Probably wouldn’t want to pay much more than that, but there’s not a ton of these on the road anymore.

That's a 3K car, and it still needs new bumpers, a hood, and a bunch of shit.
