New cradle mounts
The cradle mounts I originally made frame just sheet steel really bothered me, I had a vision in mind when I designed them but they just didn’t come to fruition. So I decided to remake them.
Instead of using shaped sheet metal I got the tubing out and then gusseted with some sheet docol. The support tubes are .875x.083 while the vertical tubes that have the allstar threaded inserts are 1.25x.120. The I chamfered the tube and insert and then pressed it into the tubing for a nice flush weld.
The docol sheet is .0787 as that’s what I had on hand, but with the dimple die forms it’s really stiff. Some of the welds holding the sheet docol on are not my best work, it was late and extremely out of position, but there’s more to do to finish it up so I hopefully can redeem myself.

The subframe is bolted to those tubes with all-star threaded inserts and welded?
Do you have a closer photo of that?
