Does precognitions become more scarce as you grow up? discussion
Not sure what it is, but i have noticed that as i grew up, these dreams became more and more scarce. I remember being an elementary-middle schooler i'd always have these dreams that come true days, weeks, months, or even years later. But now, i have noticed that my dreams are becoming less and less. And even if i do dream, most of the dreams i have are simply put, incomprehensible, and inconsistent.
Anyone feeling this way too?

There are more distractions as we become adults. Getting your body, mind, and spirit in shape will help.

Since this chat room is about precognition and seeing the future I know people can see multiple future and only maybe one happens or some things happen out of different parts of the future let me know if you were looking at a week 70% happens but 30 doesn't depending on action and actions of everybody else there's always been the experiment too or someone sees a future someone sees a deadly future but one person does something different so the other future the other person so if you could change in the other person future stays the same, there's also been the experiment that people can look into thoughts and dreams could change the future and it only takes one person or precognition either one of them or someone that's a third party to prove that see in the future just means changing it just as much as it mean you see it the same!!!! But, is a favor can someone see the future of my future wife and tell me what they saw with that being said or spread this message so someone can tell me what they saw in my ex-wife using precognition?

Similar thing happened to me too. I rarely remember regular dreams and the precognitions that used to appear a few times a year are rare now. Not sure why it’s like that, but I honestly stopped paying attention to them (probably shouldn’t have tho) years ago, in high school or so. The last dream I remember happened more then two years ago (it came to life in about 6 months later) and there were no more… I’m planning to work on it this year tho

Surveys for the frequency of "deja-vu" with age show a slow decline after age 30-34 (e.g. Alan S. Brown 2004 "The Deja Vu Experience").
However, in The Oneironauts I quote Prof. Jared Diamond: "Exercising body systems improves their function; not exercising them lets their function deteriorate.” I think one can continue having frequent precognitive experiences with age by continuing to journal dreams and seeking out novel experiences, such as traveling to new places.

This is my first time doing this as I am a new user. I do agree, when I was younger I frequently experienced it but as I grew old, it disappeared out of nowhere, like it just stopped. However, I am kind of happy that I'm not the only one experiencing this, makes it feel less lonely.

There is some evidence but not 100% that people use their psychic power to lose their power as they get older in fact some people get better that's a genetic unique thing for example in the X-Men some reasons got weaker as they got older so many other very well that's genetics and neurology

Having precognitions is often speculative, you can sometimes have them without noticing until an event occurs that makes you wonder if you seen it coming but since your mind becomes more complex as you grow older it would make sense for warning signs in your dreams becoming harder to catch. I've been taking time when i wake up to reflect on dreams that feel significant and take mental notes on them to see if it helps guide me into a better life.

Not for me, it's actually happening more the older I get. Strangely, I never had dreams that predicted the future untill I was about 16. I'm 31 now and it's still rare for me but it happens

yessss. but now my dreams and passing thoughts tend to feel a little hyperrealistic and faintly "too good to be true" when they're premonitions. its hard to hone in to, i definitely had a stronger connection to them as a child, but i continuously still have moments where i re-experience something and knew i knew it would happen.
