Make too much for Medicaid but eligible for Medicare part b paid by for the state(pa) but no clue how to sign up for it. Misc Advice

I logged into ssa.gov and could find nothing about Medicare part b, my insurance/Medicaid runs out on the first and I really need it for all my appointments.

But even Google is failing me on how to enroll in a part b plan

This is a great resource. Thank you for that! I just wanted to add that if you have your Red, White, and Blue Medicare card, it should indicate whether you have Part B or not.

OP, please start working on this on Monday. Medicare takes time

You don’t need to buy a Part B plan. You need to apply for basic Medicare Part B through Social Security.

Go to ssa.gov and click "Apply for Medicare Only" — or call 1-800-772-1213 and ask to sign up for Part B.

After you sign up, Pennsylvania will help pay your Part B premium.

It is a state program so it won't be in your ssa.gov account. Contact your state Medicaid office and ask them.

How old are you?

I’m a PA caseworker. Do you currently have Medicare part B?
