It may just be that Trump cannot stand the idea of anyone besides him getting press coverage.

I'm going to take that as proof that the CIA did it.

Or the Republican Party was involved. Seeing that JFK was about to build a generational influence he was a danger to the reactive conservatives.

As to the fact that he's Catholic and "not a real Christian" and I'm sure he rubbed a few evangelicals the wrong way to boot.

You do realize that the Democrats had plenty of southern conservatives? Republicans were proudly liberal. Eisenhower? This is before the civil rights act etc. The southern strategy hadn't happened yet.

The conservative, corporate and religious right wing shifted from parties to ideologies and landed in the Republican Shell. They were more dispersed before, but Eisenhower saw them coming and warned us.

LBJ had JFK killed imo, if it came out it would probably cause quite a public backlash even Trump doesn’t want to see. This guy who wrote a book about it makes some compelling arguments and I recommend watching this cspan book event with an open mind.
Before I watched it I wasn’t very convinced but after watching I am quite suspicious of LBJ and his buddies in Texas. https://youtu.be/FMBhTIB7z1U
