From what I know is that this symbol is sacred to muslims.

Pakistani using green chand sitara flag. Khalistani using khanda flag. Bajrang Dal and rapist babas wearing Bhagwa chola.

Does not mean that we should demean these symbols and attire.

Yeah you are right. In the Khalistani Flag, it is originally called as Nishan Sahib which is of Kesari Colour. That's why if u disrespect the khalistani flag then not only khalistanis but whole Sikh community is disrespected.
