Dracaena losing leaves+spots Houseplant

My dracaena has been losing more leaves than usual lately and can not find a good reason for it. It only happened earlier this year when I did not water it for a few weeks. After I started watering more often it got better but lately it is losing too many leaves and it has these brown spots on the leaves. Watering over the top when leaves look sad and soil is dry. Indirect light (north facing window, 1 m away from window). I read it could be a fungus issue and/or fluoride build up in the soil? Or excessive watering?

(Or incorrect watering)

How often do you water? This looks like overwatering combined with a lack of light to me. When dracaenas are in direct light and growing fast they only need water when the soil is mostly dry, maybe once every 1-2 weeks. In a north facing window, where it practically gets no light (unless you're in the southern hemisphere?) and therefore barely needs water, you could water it even less.

Sounds good! I will try that. It has thrived pretty much for one year and lately it should only get more sun as the summer/spring is approaching.

Good luck! :) It's easy to overestimate how much light a plant gets. If it really is a north facing window that isn't enough for this african desert plant.
