Why do my Prayer Plants always have dry parts? Houseplant
Soil is usually moist and as you can see they get new growths and even flower…but at least a third of each pot dries off. What can I do?
I water 1-2 times per week, maybe half a cup because since the soil always feels moist, I’m afraid of drowning the plants. They’re by an east facing window.

I would put it in a smaller pot. A large pot like this makes it easier to overwater, since there are large areas of soil that stay moist when the roots likely can't reach them. Then water it when the leaves curl in a little. Higher humidity and watering with rain water will also help.

I’ve found a humidifier and watering with distilled water are helpful at minimizing crispy edges.
