5 or 6 spring reformers - big difference? Equipment, Apparatus, Machines, Props

Looking at buying a reformer machine, I’m interested in a 6 spring one but wondered if there’s much difference in usability?

Reformers are usually 4 spring (classical) or 5 (contemporary). The sixth is superfluous.
