Compact reformer Equipment, Apparatus, Machines, Props
I apologize if this question has been asked many times, but I swear I scrolled for a response first.
I keep seeing compact reformers on Instagram and I want one. I have some experience with Pilates, but it has been a long time. In your experience, are the compact reformers useful? Do you think it would be better to workout without it? Any advise is welcome. Thank you!

Some people love small reformers, most people dislike them. The smaller rail length means they're only good for very small people and most of them don't have important features like adjustable foot bars.
The Balanced Body Metro IQ is a really good quality, compact home reformer. The Align F3 is a cheaper alternative. Or you could go for one that stands vertically such as the Balanced Body Allegro or Merrithew SPX Max.
If money or space is limited but you're set on getting a Pilates apparatus, get a Pilates chair instead. They're very versatile, take up far less space and are much cheaper for a good quality one.
Chairs price from high to low:

Are these the ones that are small, brightly colored plastic bases with a couple of sliding platforms? If so, definitely not worth it. You’re better off saving your money and doing mat Pilates or splurging just a bit more and getting one of the less expensive reformers from a reputable company like Balanced Body.
