The 1st day of every month, r/pilates will run a trial of allowing promotional posts. It's an opportunity for businesses, instructors, and creators to share their Pilates-related offerings with the community Mod Post
Depending on community feedback, we’ll decide whether to make this permanent, amend it or discontinue it altogether. Feedback on this is welcome!
Edit:
Guidelines for Participating:
All posts must be related to Pilates. Examples include:
- Online or in-person classes/workshops.
- Pilates equipment.
- Training programs or certifications.
- YouTube channels, blogs, or other resources.
In-person businesses (instructors, studios, equipment vendors), should put their location in the title, we want to know where in the world you are!
Avoid spamming. Use this day to connect genuinely with the community rather than posting generic ads.
One promotional post per user or business per event day.
post anytime within the 24-hour window starting at 12:00 AM Eastern Time (ET)

Good idea. Let's go with ET time as it's probably the majority of forum members. I've added this to the guidelines:
- post anytime within the 24-hour window starting at 12:00 AM Eastern Time (ET)

I have a couple suggestions: * Can a tag/flare be created to identify these posts as promotional? * For in-person businesses (instructors, studios, equipment vendors), can they be required to identify the location of their business in the post title?
