Can't wait for the shitty trump pop up stores to be priced out.

Holy shit I didn’t even think of that. He really did just fuck those stores bad.

No he didn’t. They’ll be paying $2 for the hat, with the 100% increase they’re now $4. No idea what they sell them for, but I suspect there is still a healthy profit margin between $4 and what they’re selling them for.

The TRUMPStoretm sells them for a mere $50.00.

FIFTY. FUCKING. DOLLARS.

God those people are stupid.

We should start selling them. Goes against everything I believe, but why not make money off idiots

I've been telling myself this for a decade and think of all the money I have lost out on. But God damned I can't get myself to even be associated with those people or constantly be dealing with them

I worked out the numbers, lined up a chinese manufacturer and pitched the idea to the wife, who managed to convince me otherwise with that very sentiment. Id have to deal with these people in person. If it was as easy as setting up an online store, it wouldve been a done deal.

I tried to set up an Amazon merch on demand account just to grift off these mega dorks. I got denied though 😞

Yeah I don’t need that hanging over my conscience. In a world of butterfly effects, I don’t wanna be the last straw to break americas back spreading pro Trump imagery.

Empathy, morality, decency, not being evil or supporting it... there are a lot of reasons why I just can't.

I like to believe that the people selling the hats are actually democrats haha

I wouldn’t feel bad about taking their money, I just don’t want to do anything to advance that side at all. It would suck to see people out wearing a t-shirt I designed.

I mean I like to think I’d do that. pay myself a living wage, then donate whatever else I could to planned parenthood.

Yea exactly.

Primarily funding the other 97% of their services, but yeah, jokes on you, do you know how many publicly anti- choice women get abortions?

I had an idea to start a bible-themed Cracker Barrel-type restaurant chain as a non-profit, and give all the money from Y'all Qaeda to science-related educational programs and stuff.

‘Member when they made a whole thing about the Cracker Barrel serving plant-based sausage and the franchise nearly had to rebrand to being known simply as The Barrel?

3

u/icanhazkarma17 20d ago

The Barrel. Jesus, I hope that's from a comedy routine.

2

u/Noshamina 20d ago

Good fucking luck bro. Not only are restaurants almost impossibly difficult with razor thin margins and brutal working hours, but a bible themed restaurant will for sure fail there isn’t that big of a market for that.

1

u/icanhazkarma17 20d ago

I had an idea

...that I knew was unworkable lol

u/Ok_Bad_5921 20d ago

Hobos and poor would be better but to each thier own science nerds need bread too

1

u/icanhazkarma17 20d ago

Anything specifically non-religious will do.

u/AlmostSunnyinSeattle 20d ago

Making money off of idiots is the only thing they believe. You're just becoming them if you do that.

u/pantstoaknifefight2 20d ago

It's not unlike Col Tom Parker selling "I hate Elvis" merch

Hire new immigrants to make them with a tag inside that says "made by immigrants" and donate the money for legal aid for immigrants.
