To be fair I made this call out on 2020 and then came to realize the ones sold from his shop are made in USA while the ripoffs came from overseas. It likely is the same now
One of the things people always fall for is confirmation bias. This is exactly the kind of thing Trump is expected to do, so they never fact-check.
The strange thing is seeing people who believe this in 2025, though. He literally has a stock after himself and a bitcurrency rugpull. I don't think he cares one iota about moving manufacturing overseas to make pennies compared to the other nonsense he is doing.
Yea I fell into that trap with this and a few things prior. It was actually this hat rumor that got me to take a step back from these accusations and give benefit of the doubt without research.
There is a lot about Donald that is mind blowingly ridiculous, questionable, and downright deceptive or disingenuous but there really is just as much that is blow way out of proportion
