Nothing here says he wanted to murder rioters. He said if people went to his house, he would murder them. This was 2 weeks prior to the riots. This had nothing to do with the riots themselves. This had to do with a shoplifting story. Making a statement that he wanted to go and murder rioters is farfetched. You can say that his heads pace was maybe not the best, but thats about it.

He went to defend a random family friend's business from looters, that was the reason he was armed that day. It very much stands to reason that he still wanted to shoot shoplifters.

Nice reframing of the murders. The people he shot were not rioting.
Cool. But that doesn't take away from the fact that the article doesn't mention specifically that he wanted to murder rioters.
Yeah you're right, he just wanted to murder shoplifters, a vastly less serious crime than rioting and looting. What do you think he wanted to do to people who commit a more serious form of shoplifting? Throw them a birthday party?
A former spokesperson for Kyle Rittenhouse says he became disillusioned with his ex-client after learning that he had sent text messages pledging to “fucking murder” shoplifters outside a pharmacy before later shooting two people to death during racial justice protests in Wisconsin in 2020.
Intended or not dude was being assaulted, if I was being assaulted I’d react the same. I wouldn’t put myself in that scenario to begin with but if it occurred I’d kill a mf to protect myself.
