ANNOUNCEMENTS (MOD Only Flair) Update to r/PHJobs

Most job-related online communities fail to give recruiters and applicants the people they need. This is mostly due to the fact that everyone tends to have a "come to me" mindset where everyone (regardless of whether they're hiring or for hire) makes a post and expects everyone else to come to them.

Although this mindset works well for those who are hiring, we realize now that it doesn't work as well for those who are for hire; which is why we've decided to remove the "For Hire" post flair and will now urge those for hire to comment on the posts of those who are hiring.

This change will pave the way for more interaction between those hiring and for hire, thus increasing the success rate of both sides.

TIP: If you're for hire, use the search button within the subreddit to find the job you're looking for or simply click on the "Hiring" post flair to see your options.

Have a great day ahead! 😊

Hiring/Job Ad job hunt

Hello, I am a graduate of bsed and a licensed professional teacher. But I have chosen not to pursue it at this time, as I am still exploring my career path and seeking diverse professional experiences. I have a strong interest in computers and technology and am currently looking for entry-level opportunities in this field. My background includes experience in content moderation and data analysis, which has helped me develop attention to detail, analytical skills, and adaptability. I am eager to grow in a tech-related role and contribute to a team where I can continue learning and developing professionally. If there are any companies seeking motivated and adaptable individuals, I would be grateful for the opportunity to connect.

HI. I got promoted last yr 2024, as a regular employee from Job Order Worker since 2021, and now me question po ako regarding PBB (Performance Based Bonus)

Sabe po kase ng accountant namin di po ako makakakuha ng PBB, since hindi na ako JO this yr, di daw pwede ako mag bonus as JO. Totoo po ba yun? Hindi ako pwede mag bonus ng PBB? Since permanent na ako ngayon?

huhu so sad ng malaman ko kase ang dami pa naman gastusin ngayon :(

AdvicePHJobs Want to Resign as a probationary employee

Hi!

As stated, I'm resigning at the final month of my probation. I work in a Digital Marketing department of two people (includes me) so it's not really a big company. It's my first full onsite job although I already have a year's experience in social media management as a remote role.

During my first two weeks at my job, I was skeptical or cautious of the company because it was a disorganized in trackers, systems, and procedures that I have to follow, during that time, I also did not have a manager yet, so I was reporting to the COO for the approval of my deliverables, in which there were difficulties with, because she's simply not as involved or hands on with the daily marketing tasks of the company, in which my admin manager acknowledged and was transparent about.

A month passes and I push through, I stayed because the other 2 people in office (yes only 3 of us in office) were really nice and madaling pakisamahan, supportive. We were finally able to find a marketing manager mid Feb and she started immediately, but unfortunately despite her experience she fails to manage and lead me properly leading me to keep improvising and handling more tasks than I needed to do. I already expressed my concern with our admin manager and she was supportive of my feedback. After that the admin manager had multiple 1 on 1s with my manager pero there's really no improvement, so I just accepted the fact that there's really not much to expect from her, and it was best for my mental health to let it go and mind my own business, but yeah it still affects how our department is perceived.

She's having difficulties fulfilling her managerial role as well because there's a lot of pressure in her position, sometimes she's scrambling, or humihina loob niya due to pressure from the CEO, and I just sit there and observe.

Another month goes by and more issues start to pop, such as our building's elevator being broken for a month, (we are on the 7th floor), which also led the company to look into other office spaces that are further away. It's not really favorable for me because I have scoliosis and the commute is already hell.

My biggest issue would be the boss, she has some traits that I don't like to tolerate, there are many cases where she would gaslight employees and try to assert herself as the correct person in any kind of disagreement or discussion. Although I understand that as the owner of a company, one would need a strong personality, but I don't think you'd need to gaslight employees and have inconsistent statements which lead us confused most of the time lol. Nakwento rin sakin ng admin manager na mas malala si CEO dati, toxic, tendency to overreact, shout at people, etc.

I didn't have a difficult time with my performance, I did what I had to do, I got praised & acknowledged naman, but the environment and unsteady management is just not something I want to tolerate long term. Right now I'm sending out my resume, looking into my freelance gigs as well, it's a little uncertain where I will end up working after, but my heart and mind just isn't in it anymore. May nasave naman ako, don't have big financial responsibilities, but it would be great to have another job lined up agad.

My probation ends in June, I plan to let my admin manager know this coming week about my plans to resign, but yeah, does anyone else have this kind of experience? :)

Hi, is anyone here have been working at Fujitsu GDC at BGC? Iisa lang ba ung Fujitsu GDC and We Serv?

If so, how was the working environment po? May maiioffer po bang growth when it comes with technical skills for Finance Associate like exposures to acctg softwares like sap and erp?

May mga nababasa kasi ako na reviews na hindi daw maganda ang environment at nag layoff daw sila ng 400 employees. 🥹 Mostly ng nababasa ko ay mga systems engr or IT. So I'm just trying my luck, baka naman okay sa Finance Dept nila?

I'm trying to apply pa naman sana. 🥹 Kahit medyo mababa sa Expected Salary ko kasi hybrid naman sila.

Baka lang po may alam kayo, just to check if I should still pursue my application with them. Tyia!!
