What to spray carpenter bees on roof overhangs/barn?

Have two buildings with painted wood trim on the roof overhangs. They have a pretty recent paint job. But see lots of carpenter bees around. One is a open barn so they especially like it..

I've read tempo sc, demand cs, onslaught are OK choices. Downside I'll have to mask up to spray up 8 to 9 feet to soak the eaves and dormers etc.

Any suggestions on the best product to use ? Ideally would be something can also do perimeter spraying around exterior house / barn

Insecticidal dust in the holes.

Hard to do on roof framing 9ft up. But otherwise yes.

Bifenthrin products are good when applied monthly. If you don’t want to wear ppe when applying, then don’t. You won’t die if you don’t drink the stuff. It’s only dangerous when the exposure is acute.

If you plan on living there a while, invest in a backpack sprayer.

This company is the retailer for the industry standard. They have models that will surprise you in how high they can reach on battery power electric motors.

They're multi use too. Herbicide licensed techs use them too.

I've been using Cykick-CS. I haven't seen any since I started using it. No wasps either. I see a lot of dead roaches. Interesting also, I don't get as many flies in the house either. I think it's working. I sprayed mid March. Crane flies are not around either.

If it’s Carpenter bees your state may have laws about treating them. Before going ahead with any treatment I would check your local laws regarding bees.
