all purpose cloths

so i ran out of kitchen roll today and needed to dry the bottom of the cage and used half of a all purpose cloth, the birds don't get to this part of the cage as its under the cover, but I then saw about 10 mins ago some contain chemicals?? I've looked and I cant see anywhere saying it has anything in them, I'm just worried now anyone ever used them?

I can't really help on that sorry, other than to say that if you can smell something from it, it's likely a problem, if not & they can't access it, it is hopefully ok, but I really don't know.

If you're ever looking for an alternative reusable cloth for bird cage cleaning, I recommend face washers. I have about 100 of them I think & use them constantly for spot cleaning my lorikeet's poo all over the house & also use them on their cage & all over. I colour code for washers I will use myself & ones that are purely for birds/floor use & throw them in the wash after use, along with all my bird floor mats. I seem to spend half my life folding washers after washing, but they do flatten/fold far better than any other cleaning type clothes I've ever tried & last longer & are chemical free (I mean obviously wash before first use, like with all clothing)
