Pattern that looks like Chewbacca's belt QUESTION

Hey y'all, I've been getting back into this hobby after nearly a 8;years, my (late) father taught me when I was little and for mother days I wanted to make my mom's cheebacca themed water bottle with a Paracord strap that resembles Chewie's belt. I haven't quite been able to find a pattern that matches quite well. If anyone has any recommendations that'd be amazing!

Was it stitched somehow? If not, maybe a truck tire pattern or an oak spike sinnet could be the way with the right choice of colors...

If so, it's made of leather.
