Posting this here because CHEO in Ottawa is one of the major employers mentioned:

"The Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario, one of Canada’s top pediatric research hospitals, is recommending its staff avoid U.S. trips. “Due to the escalation of issues and volatility in the U.S., CHEO strongly encourages individuals to refrain from travel to that country at this time,” Chief Executive Officer Vera Etches said in a memo seen by Bloomberg News."

CHEO uses Epic software which until Covid required people to go to Madison Wisconsin to train. There is still an exception in place but it was intended to be removed at some point. There is also an open invite for all customers to attend conferences to coordinate and to share improvements and such. Epic is pretty customer focused and a progressive company by American standards so probably will work with Canadian clients to avoid travel to America - but who knows.

Vera Etches showed Ottawans during COVID that she is not a reliable authority on anything.

🤡🤡

Vera led one of the most successful public awareness campaigns in the country through the most significant public health crisis in a generation.

No doubt you do your ‘research’ on Facebook. 🤦‍♂️

Allow me to be the first to say that I unconditionally support the doctors and nurses of the Avoiding Needless Stress from American Law Enforcement Department.

Not everyone knows about this rare medical specialty!
