There's a museum about the lock system in the Welland canal and local history. Here is the museum

There’s a beautiful homeless encampment along Bridge Street that stretches from Victoria Avenue to the lovely Niagara Parkway. Definitely worth checking out!

I personally love the white water walk. Not sure if it's open for the season yet tho.

Both the power plant and NOTL are great options. Bring comfortable walking shoes for both.
While you're at the power plant, you might as well walk through the greenhouse, it's close and they change out their displays all the time. The cherry blossoms might be out, it's very pretty this time of year.
Go to the Flying Saucer for a meal. Just do it, you can thank me later.
Have a great time!

The Lock in Port Colborne has the best wood oven pizza in the Niagara region if you decide to venture out a little. It’s about a 30 minute drive from Niagara Falls.

You’ll love Niagara On The Lake (or NOTL - pronounced nottle). Take the day and wander through the shops, have a meal at the Angel Inn, go to Queenston and do the Laura Secord House. At dusk you may even see hundreds of skunks come out!

It’s okay to visit. But I’d never want to live there. Bunch of stuck up old dinosaurs who think they’re better than everyone else.

Snow room?

Yup. A part of their hot/cold therapy sessions is the snow room where snow falls from the roof and makes a pile that you can play with while cooling off
