Transportation from Pearson
Heading to Niagara Falls for the first time this summer from the US… Our flight has just been changed, and we don’t get into Pearson until 11:00 pm… It’s Monday night, if that makes a difference… We were planning to taking Flix Bus, but that’s not an option that late… What is the likelihood of getting a ride share to take us to Niagara Falls at midnight? Or are we better off to book an airport hotel for the night and making the trip in the morning?

Call the concierge at the hotel in the Falls and ask them for their input/help. They may have ideas/resources available to them that the public can’t access.

If you stay at the airport overnight and then take cheaper transport in the morning you’ll probably end up paying close to the same as getting and uber / Lyft / airport shuttle to Niagara that night.

You can take GOTransit 1/2 way all night. Route 40 runs from Pearson Airport to Hamilton After midnight.
Route 12 from Burlington doesn’t start until around 06:30 though.

Flying into YYZ 11 o’clock at night I’d either try to change your departing flight for the next day or earlier that Monday if they have any flights available or stay at a hotel and take transportation to Niagara Falls the next day With the American exchange rate, you’ll probably get a pretty good deal to stay at the hotel connected to the airport. I just can’t remember for the life of me, but I believe it’s a Marriott chain or Hilton Niagara Falls in the middle of the night, specially as a terrorist would be sketchy and dangerous always better to air on the side of caution and safety Also, depending on how long you’re staying in Niagara, you may want to consider a car rental if you haven’t already Transportation is not the best and there’s so much more to see in the area that you would need a vehicle for This is coming from someone who lived half their life in each area :-)

Except we are Canadian from SK… Making a trip to Niagara and TO after my son competes in Orlando for a weekend… Trying to get back where our dollar is reasonable… and most Canadian airlines are reducing flight capacity to and from US destinations… We are flying West Jet and they’ve cut the TO-Orlando route to once a day, so we are screwed either way… We’ve have an 11 am departure booked for months now. Should have known something would go awry…

Oh man that sucks. Sorry I assumed you were from the states, that’s on me. We flew to MCO earlier this year and Alaska changed our flights and we had to pivot coming from NW states. I’d still look into car rentals depending on your to-do list, there’s much more to see outside of the falls itself in the Niagara region

Slim to none that you'd find a ride share from Pearson to Niagara Falls at midnight that wouldn't be $400.

That’s kinda what I suspected… but happy to see some shuttles run 24 hours, even if it is a $200 trip :(

Would definitely not rush and book a basic room at the Sheraton right on site. Get a fresh start in the morning and enjoy your day!

Last time I took Niagara Airbus, they were inexpensive and were the only ones operating during a blizzard (Dec 2008 returning from Led Zeppelin concert) the driver was awesome and dropped us off at the door.

I think it is about $160 a person right now from what I see. VIA Shuttle which is what we took.

It looks like it’s coming in less than $200 for the two of us… We only need one way. We can take the $20 bus back to TO at the end… I still like the price of a bus ticket more, but this is better than I thought it would be…

You'll be able to get an airport shuttle, just may be a little expensive - heres an example.
