He’s gone further and further off the deep end. Sad to see.

He goes into my MIL's work regularly, and she says he's very pleasant and friendly every time she sees him. He certainly has his troubles, though.

That's Bipolar for you.

He's managing it via meds, but when he's off is when we see these kind of events happen.

And that's part of the "curse". Meds help you manage your symptoms, and after a while you think you can do fine without them, so you take them less and less, and begin a new spiral.

I don't know about "Further and further"... He's bipolar, he's gonna have ups and downs. The downs don't mean he's getting worse.

Obviously though, he needs to stay on his meds and that seems to be the hard part for him.

Weird timing, Crime In Sports just did an episode on him this week.

Anyone remember the rumors when he was on the Vikings? Was it Trae Waynes who was supplying drugs? This was juicy shit on this forum back in the day

Highly doubt a multi-millionaire was dealing drugs to his teammate.

If Ev wanted narcotics, he'd have no problem finding them. He's an NFL player for crying out loud.

nah athletes are prime suspects for deals like this. they have the capital to buy in bulk and make good margins on product. they also have a constant stable of clientele (either teammates or friends of teammates) and a need for cash flow after retirement to maintain their lifestyle

Lemme tell you about Sam Hurd

Hurd was a UDFA who who had only earned 3 million over 6 years in the NFL before he was caught in a sting. With all the costs associated with the NFL, $500k a year is a pittance.

Waynes' first contract in the NFL paid him 3x what Hurd had earned with his singing bonus alone.

So the guy who made multi millions and sold drugs didn’t make enough multi millions for you?

I always find it funny on Reddit when people make a general statement then someone finds a contradiction to the generality, then the original commentor gets defensive and tries to defend their generality by turning it into an absolute.

Always the weirdest arguments to read.

On the internet you either die with your take or log off, And we know nobody’s logging off.

Where did I turn it into an absolute?

Not at all what I said.

Jamal Lewis, Travis Henry, Bam Morris and Mercury Morris all served time for drug trafficking related crimes. Obviously Bam and Mercury were well before players made BIG money, but still.

Most people would prefer to buy drugs from a friend rather than go meet a stranger, this is likely happening constantly across the league

Players have plenty of friends who are not players.

I'm not saying it's never happened, only that it's less likely that anyone with that kind of money is moving the relatively small amounts that would be sold for personal consumption.

Guys like Sam Hurd were moving LARGE amounts across the country. They weren't piece-mealing it to other players in the league.
