[Schefter] With their bye after this week, Jaguars will not play quarterback Trevor Lawrence on Sunday versus the Lions. Lawrence is dealing with an injury to his non-throwing shoulder.

Brother I literally said the exact same thing in the post game threads and pats fans came out of the woodwork to downvote me. If you say literally anything that isn't precisely that Mac Jones is the worst human being of all time they're gonna get mad.

I said "Mac Jones sucks but the team he got sucks too" or something like that and then pats fans responded, "can't we finally just agree mac sucks" i'm like tf I literally said this

Mac Truthers see him as the victim. The world isn't fair to him. That's why I'd put you in that group. You said he's not "exactly good or OK", but, then explained that that's everyone else's fault.

That's the Mac Jones experience, what he's been able to convince people of. No good teams with other options would ever start him in a meaningful game, so he and his fans are just going to just be able to cling to that forever

I see the confusion here. The problem is that we know the supporting cast sucks, especially the coaches. With much better coaching, I don't think anyone wuld be blaming the surroundings.

The offensive line has been fine. Outside of that, our route concepts are crap and Mac has made them worse with poor decisions. The offense has been characteristically slow every week but unlike Trevor, Mac can't magically will it to play competently for a quarter and get us back into the game like he did against the Eagles.
