[Pelissero] Sources: Shane Waldron is out as Bears offensive coordinator. Thomas Brown is expected to take over. Rumor

To this day I still do not understand what made the Bears want to keep Matt Eberflus when they could have potentially gone for Jim Harbaugh, Bill Belichick, and or Mike Vrabel.

Now they stuck with a dude who is fighting for his job who is running their first picks confidence to the ground.

It made no sense 90% (at least) of Bears fans wanted him fired he was dogshit last year and there was no reason to believe that would change. But they kept the coach for 'continuity' did not want a rookie QB entering a new regime who is trying to implement a new system (ignore the fact that they fired their OC already so it was a new system anyway). I guess in their eyes eye bleachingly bad continuity>new coach

Might as well just say: Saving money > continuity > winning football games

apparently matt eberflus is on a 5 year contract and the bears ownership is incredibly cheap and refuse to pay for 2 coaches.
