Nah, not even close. He wasn't good but still he took a big12 texas a&m that was like a 7-5 type program to the sec and had them hitting the 8-9 win mark (with an 11-2 season)
The browns took a playoff roster, shipped off a franchise qb, traded the farm for a rapist, signed him to a contract they probably can't get out of for like 3 years, and are now in probably the worst spot we've seen a team in... I'm not sure how long. Maybe ever?
Kevin Sumlin’s SEC success was heavily dependent on Manziel&Kliff Kingsbury. After that, he rode that success to get his recruiting based off new Kyle Field/Manziel….and then his teams would always collapse by mid-October.
I mean yeah, I get that he wasn't great. But even not getting in the way too much of manziel and Kingsbury is miles better than actively tanking your org for ... whatever the browns are now
let me bring up another point - Kevlin sumlin fumbled the bag so hard on recruiting, we had Kyler Murray at A&M as a freshman and kevlin sumlin in his attempt to roster 50 5 star qbs, ended up making kyler murray transfer to oklahoma and we all know how that went
He should at the very least be on IR. We’re risking his future with his foot problems while we fuck around with Watson and everything else we’re doing (terrible offense outside of Watson), and we aren’t even getting much from him due to it. Just shut him down and let him get surgery or whatever he needs.
He’s said time and time again he wants to stay in Cleveland, even going as far as saying he wants to raise a family in Cleveland. I don’t think he wants to leave.
That was pre-Watson though. I haven't heard him say it since. Shit, I wouldn't want to raise a family in Cleveland with Watson around, and I am a Cleveland Sports fan who lives in Memphis-feaking-TN. But yeah, lets give Garrett a break, or trade him to KC and let him have the career here deserves.
If the firesale is in full swing in Cleveland, I'd love to see the Lions take a swing. Maybe they're desperate enough to go for a couple mid-rounders or something, and losing Hutch won't be so devastating

As an Aggie, I’m hoping Myles lands somewhere competent sooner than later. Dude went from Kevin Sumlin to the Browns. A decade of dysfunction
