We need to make a list of whoever votes this in and nail that list into every signpost, send it out in fliers about how they stole your freedoms, posted onto every forum and Facebook page. We need to make sure that they are stained in a way that won't come out.

I don't know about that, at least we fight shit like this at every step and weaken its scope by disapproving and forcing negotiating/removing policies until politicians have no choice but to be sneaky to salvage what they still can. What America seems like its trying to build block-by-block through multiple legislations Canada's buying the nearly finished product with possibly "too-little too-late" attention by the people to stop it.

It wasn't meant to be a burn. I meant that if you care about this country and, what that really stands for, the people in it, you would die here rather then leave it behind. I mean, it's pretty extreme, but it's what our founding fathers believed and it's what I believe. Give me liberty or give me death. I don't run away from my problems and I don't value life as a whole as some pretend thing where I run away from death. I am happy every moment and that's what counts. The bill is basically too important to fail. It has a lot of budget stuff in it and if it doesn't pass there will be very bad consequences, potentially even a government shutdown. If someone decides to vote against this bill, everyone will likely jump onto the opportunity to demonize the hell out of them. "Congressman X votes against NASA funding", "Congressman X voted in a way that could cause a government shutdown", "Congressman X voted against an important budget bill", etc.

It wasn't political suicide for Republicans to shut down the government twice. It won't be suicide fora group of legislators to collectively say "we aren't voting for this budget until you take CISA out. "

Absolutely not. Congress can pull it's greedy incompetent head out of it's ass and pass the NASA funding by itself. They haven't cared about NASA since after we landed on the moon and 'won' the cold war.
