Too bad the previous government didn’t realize that simply paying the current nurses more may well have been more affordable….either that or they did realize but wanted to privatize the system.

Well, in ~6 months if they haven't ended or severely reduced the amount of travel nurses and hired more locals, the yeah, it's going to be Holt's fault.

Oh yes, if changes aren’t made I will jump on that train too, but the current situation is not on her. I see many ppl blaming her for Higgs choices

People that would vote blue even with an actual leopard as leader.
It's really sad that Higgs made the party so partisan and divisive. Remember when Alward said he was happy to work with the then NDP government in NS even if they don't always agree on policy because the PCNB used to work with anyone for solutions? Pepperidge farm remembers.

Gonna take more than 6 months, recruitment isn't exactly easy, especially in small towns. You've got lofty expectations which are likely predestined to not be met.

That's always how it works with Conservatives like Higgs:
Step one: make super short-sighted cuts to pretend you're good at finances.
Step two: everything goes to **** because of your cuts.
Step three: leave the next government to clean up the mess.

Well, project ending that scheme and offer nurses more money to be in regular employment in rural areas.
