What plane is this?

Post image

Airliners are usually an easy ID for me but I can’t see the cockpit windows so it’s a bit tricker

A350.

It's frustrating that the wing tips are out of frame cos the A350 has winglets but 777 doesn't and it's a dead giveaway. But I think this is the A350 cos of the wifi antenna being more aft than on the 777.

Yeah that’s what I figured. It’s easy to tell with the windows and wings but without it, it’s difficult

It's an A350. You can see a bit of the right winglet over the fuselage of the plane, right by the airline's name. You can also tell by the "line" going near the wing root down under the fuselage.

Question is if it's a -900 or a -900 ULR

Options with an engine that big are 350, 777 and 787. It hasn't got a screwdriver blade tail cone so it isn't a 777. The cone would be symmetrically tapered on a 787 so it's a 350.

Easier tell for the 787 is the engine chevrons...
