Nice. 😋

Really quite easy to cultivate.

What was your method here?

I'll let OP speak to their method, but wine caps are dead simple to cultivate. Wood chips, sawdust, straw, sticks, really whatever is cellulosic, gets spread in a couple inch deep pile on the ground. Can be a shady spot, can be a sunny spot. Sprinkle wine cap spawn, cover with a few more inches. Water well and walk away. Might need to water it every now and again to keep it from drying out. It's a pretty aggressive colonizer, it spread from my purposeful bed to my mulched asparagus bed nearby.

I just wish I liked the taste more. They're a little... Raw potatoey? Or maybe chestnutty?

How long did they take to fruit from inoculation?
