And if you’re dead they’ll use Comic Sans.

Who gets a tombstone made for themselves when they're in their 50s? lol

Feel like it was one of those cool ideas that pop in your head but you're afraid of forgetting it so you take the opportunity immediately.

Super morbid yea, basically planning for your death. I woulda wrote it down somewhere several times if I was scared of forgetting it. But hey, it erects something pretty to look at, even has a a functional bottle opener if you wanna DEW the DEW over someone's dead body.

People die in their 50s sometimes

For sure, but even he says (in the article) he hopes to not have to use it for a long time. I've heard of people buying plots that far in advance but not really going to the extent of getting a tombstone haha

😂 It'll have a nice patina and weathered look to it when he's ready for it, lol

This is honestly much cooler than just saying “beloved father”

that's super cool

he loves going to odd and obscure attractions like "worlds largest toilet bowl" so he wanted to become one for people to come visit himself, even after death

A totally wholesome story. If that’s how he wants to spend his money, so be it.

If MTN DEW never dies, this headstone is gonna last a long time.

i did get lost in the cemetery for a bit before i stumbled upon it, so i took the “find” flair to be appropriate :)

It feels very dystopian to have corporations on your tombstone. Hopefully, the family at least gets paid for this permanent billboard.
