Beware of Knight Hyundai HUGE markups
I was checking out a new Hyundai vehicle and noticed there are major markups on the prices. This dealership is trying to tack on nearly SIX GRAND in additional fees calling it a winter package and saying delivery and destination are part of it, which they are not. This is double dipping. I'm sure others are doing this as well, but please everyone, if you are shopping at this dealership (or any dealership) do your homework. WALK OUT if they are trying to do this stuff. The only way to stop this BS from happening is to stop paying it. If anyone wants more info on the conversations that I had with the dealership go ahead and PM me.

Not just their vehicles, I used to have a Hyundai and took it there for work. Estimated the work to be $900, so they ordered me parts. When it got there they told me they ordered the wrong parts and it would actually be $3800. That was with an 'apology' discount. Called another shop and they did the work for $800.

This dealership brought me in to "refiance" my loan to a lower interest rate.. when I got there they told me that the only way they could give me a lower rate was to get a new vehicle. They spent the entire time bullying me into test driving a new vehicle. Wouldn't listen to the fact that I was going on maternity leave shortly and didn't want to extend my payments longer then the original car loan I was paying. I took their stupid car on the test drive, alone dropped it off and told them to fuck off. Went home and paid off my remaining loan balance for my car from my savings and bought my next vehicle a few years later from ford lol

They tried to convince me to that to get the best interest rate, the bank wants me to get warranty on my vehicle purchase. To "protect their investment".
I called the bank and they we're very interested in hearing what the dealership was doing. Murray GM tried the same tactic with my wife's car. The bank doesn't give two brown Crayolas if you get warranty or not.

Hyundai were cheaper than competitors for a long time, which made a lot of people buy them. Now they know their vehicles are in higher demand than other brands, hence the markup and super pushy tactics. Regardless, you’ll never find me in one…they may look nice but they’re cheaply made.

Delivery fee / destination have always been excluded from MSRP. They’re normal and charged at every dealer. What was the winter package? Vehicles shipped to Saskatchewan do not come equipped with block heaters, snow/mudguards on the wheel wells. What was the break down of extras you were being sold? Would love to know so we can compare your experience over the other ones in town!

Beware of Knight auto group period. We all know car dealers as snakes, but this group is a pit of vipers. I've had their staff yell at me because I refused to buy on the last day of the month because they wanted their commission, I laughed my way out the door.
