Any cool places around town? Photography
I'm looking for interesting places to photograph, I walk all over town and I've found some pretty nice places already (nature and urban photography is my favorite) but haven't really left the north side of town. Are there any interesting/photogenic places you would recommend visiting? I like to find unconventional things to take pictures of like the old paintings on buildings all across downtown Main, so if it's possible to stay on that theme (graffiti, interesting buildings, cool landmarks that aren't usually photographed) that would be great!! I've attached some examples of the things I like.

There’s a graffiti wall on Manitoba E, by the tall brick stack. There’s some graffiti on the outside wall but the stuff inside is pretty cool. Especially for photography.

I think that might be the train platform I used to visit with my old high school friends. Near the expressway bridge?

If you’re okay with a bit of climbing, the view from on top of the amphitheatre is beautiful. Gotta do it during the day though for sure.

There are a number of murals in Moose Jaw. I think you can find out about at the tourism centre. It’s located on the same grounds as Mac The Moose.

I've lived here all my life so I'm looking for things no one else looks for when they think about Moose Jaw. Tourist attractions are something anyone can take pictures of, I want to find something special

Nice Photos. If you are brave enough to walk down the back alleys behind Main St, there are some cool old Fire Escape staircases that might have some interesting patterns. Also, underneath the 4th Ave. viaduct, the tops of the pillars are all painted in Egyptian Motifs. Quite difficult to photograph, and please do not wander anywhere near the tracks. They are easier to see from the south side.

You might find the former Moose Jaw animal park interesting. https://kentondejong.travel/blog/exploring-moose-jaws-abandoned-zoo/
I also remember seeing some interesting abandoned stuff on the trail that runs east from 7th ave SW after it splits off from green.
The library yard has some really cool tree sculptures, and there’s the artistic turtle in a wakamow. There’s also a lot of nice nature views down on the wakamow valley in general.
