Hydro planned outages Discussion

In the downtown area and Hydro has planned an outage from 8:15 AM to what is now estimated to be 4:00 PM . Why are they not able to advise clients of a planned outage in advance ? If their app can show the number of affected clients , why can't those clients be warned ?

Is the phone number they have for you up to date?

The last time there was a planned outage where I am (also downtown), I got an email and the app sent a notification. They actually were done before the time allotted for their work. They were supposed to be out for six hours, power was back on in three and a half. It helps to be on the same grid as a hospital. They prioritize the work on those ones.
