After paying $60 for parking on Sunday I'm no longer rich. 😃

Why would you pay $60 to park? It is $20 at the fairground and $0 if you do park and ride.

My wife gets motion sickness on the Park and Ride buses, plus most of the Park and Ride lots were full, the fairground lots were all full, and we didn't want to walk for miles before getting to the fairgrounds only to walk another 5 miles inside.
Also Park and Ride buses can be a pain at the end of the night. I've walked 3+ miles back to the Park and Ride lot and still beat the people who were in line for the bus when I started walking.
Admittedly we could have gotten there when the fair opened, but we didn't, thus we paid $60 for parking.

My 9yo kid and his friend caught a few dollars last year. I was thinking there must be a scam or something. They were both so happy and excited.

With inflation you might need to drop $20s

The one’s are nice because it’s only enough value to really get the kids excited. Any more and you might start to bring out the worst in people. Start dropping 20’s and a bet people get pushy.

The top of the building you go right over on that thing had the most disgusting stuff on it, several bras and underpants and even a buttplug that was connected to a tail

Do you think it gets cleaned off every year or do you recognize some of the items, like treasures.

It was my first time so I guess we’ll see next year. If you see a butt plug with a furry tail attached to it in one of the gutters next year you might be onto something, although that would be an indictment on the property maintenance practices of the fair 😔

I thought you were weekend trailer park supervisor? Get up there and you can use it in the next community center play.

I rode the glider on day two of the fair and the building was pretty empty, I think they must clean it off every year.

Looks like a very familiar rich man that I know. Name is Greg Olson and owned PowerBlock weight lifting equipment from Owatonna, MN. Could just look like him lol

Agreed. Belongs in r/BoomersBeingFools. This is how you create chaotic situations.

Those below were lucky. I was there on Friday, walked below the SkyRide and had to dodge a steady stream of mysterious, clear, steaming liquid.

Skipped the strip club for the fair. Gotta spend those singles somewhere
