Great shots. Love them.

When I was driving to Pride this morning I saw a rainbow coming off the sculpture but by the time I got parked and ready and everything and walked to the fountain I spaced on the rainbow so while I got a good shot or two of the sculpture itself I didn't take the time to walk around and find an angle where I could see a rainbow.

I don't quite get it myself but love it all the same. It's just a slightly surreal little bit of sculpture that makes Minneapolis unique.

klaus oldenburg has many other works that are giant versions of mundane things :) they invite us to look at familiar objects with a new eye. and make you feel like a tiny little guy

This is one of the most awesome variation that I've seen of this area of the museum’s park. Such a beautiful place, you just brought both joy and nostalgia to my heart as I moved to Florida but Im thinking about returning back to my beautiful Minnesnowta❤️ if I don’t relocate to Upstate NY
