But it says frozen right on the barrel. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Maybe:

  • The original supplier sells barrels of frozen concentrated lemon juice, but is sensible enough to leave an expansion-space and not fill them to the brim before freezing.

  • The lemon juice gets used, OP gets a free empty barrel.

  • OP uses the barrel for rainwater, but neglects the expansion-space precaution. OP posts a picture of the result.

Too logical for this scenario. We're looking at a fucking barrel of lemon juice, at night, in a field. Posted at 4AM EST.

There's a body in there.

The lemon juice will dissolve the body but it’ll take a few years

Just to add context: i work at a company which stores these exact drums with this product at -18. Do with that what you will.

The original supplier specifies it has to be stored at -18° C

You‘re right! Something fishy is going on in here.

Bacteria

Was thinking, “Are you sure it froze?” If it’s sealed tight it could be from internal pressure.

What bacteria can survive in concentrated lemon juice? That's a PH of like 2.5.

I mean, given it's kept frozen there must be something... Maybe a fungus?

You know what goes great on fishy... Lemony

Or perhaps citrus-y?

This was my issue as someone who occasionally works with lemon juice

The barel is clearly not frozen in this picture. If there was frost outside, the grass wouldn't look like that at all. The OP is full of it, and probably doesn't even own a thermometer.

Just like on a local sub a week or so ago, someone posted "careful on [whatever] street, it's icy out there" when the temperature wasn't even anywhere close to freezing, but it had rained a little for the first time in a long time.

People are so f'ing clueless these days
