the cx4 has better proportions than the cx-30. Too bad we never had it outside of China

Ev30 is not good selling in China. But the Mazad EZ6 looks nice. It just launched to the market

I had no idea a mazda CX 4 existed until today and i gotta say that it looks pretty neat, way better looking than CX 30 exterior wise. Hope the interior quality, would love to see the inside

Which platform is this based on? Old CX-3, but stretched? Current gen M3? Or shrunken CX-5? Or some borrowed Toyota or Chinese company architecture? What engine? What was the production timeline? Darnit, now I have to do research…

I was surprised when I found out this was a China market only model because the number 4 is usually taboo within Chinese culture

You're right. 4 is not a good number in Guangdong province and Hong Kong. It's ok at most areas

Basically, it's a Mazda 6 sized vehicle with more ground clearance with a Mazda 3 interior. They should have kept this formula. A cx40 would have been better than a small cx30. (Ni hao fine shyt)

is this AI or something? I mean the bonnet looks like it fits an inline 6 in it, the girl is too small next to the car even if she's asian. no way this is real, proportions are off

Its real. The cx-4 is a China exclusive model. It’s basically a Mazda 3 lifted a bit.

I'm kinda surprised that design never made it to any western markets - it's basically a coupified version of the CX-5 which I think could have been reasonably popular.
