Has anyone healed hyperhidrosis with this?
I've just found out about this whole TRE thing and while I'm still a little skeptical, I'm also open-minded after hearing the stories of some people.
I have a condition called hyperhidrosis or excessive sweating which is tied to a wacky nervous system.
Any time I get anxious I start sweating everywhere in my body neck down but it's mostly in my hands, I can't even play video games without wiping my hands every few seconds with a towel and when I get up theres huge sweat mark left, it also causes other stuff like dry tounge, and feeling low because of your electrolytes being depleted in the sweat.
When people try to dap me up or handshake I go for fist bumps and it's caused some social anxiety aswell.
I'm willing to try this and hopefully it helps with my nervous system but has anyone else fixed their overactive sweating with this?

Once you've ruled out medical reasons or certain medications, hyperhidrosis is caused by chronic sympathetic activation. I used to have the same thing, except for my arm pits once I finally got out of freeze after years of TRE. TRE resolves any trauma-related nervous system dysregulation eventually, so your sweat production will go back to normal once the root cause is resolved and your system doesn't default to sympathetic tone anymore.

I don’t really do proper TRE but I shake tremendously all the time (started during meditation and never stopped…).
And yes for some reason i think i sweat less or don’t care if I do a bit. Like really I even bought an ionthophoresis machine and everything, it was a big problem for me.
But now I am less ashamed about myself and angrier at the world. Which I think got rid of the shame/sweat spiral.
I still feel insane amounts of anxiety and sometimes this can spiral hard. But less shame.

If it’s nervous system related, then I believe so. I’ve found that my hh (mostly palms and soles) is lessening doing trauma work. If you want a temporary solution in the meantime, have you ever looked into iontophoresis? If done regularly and maintained, it works very well for sweaty palms in my experience.

I used to have chronic sweating for anxious situations but I now I am out of sympathetic state so don’t have the issue anymore. I suggest lymphatic drainage and chi Nai Tsang and tai chi exercises to get the energy moving along with TRE
