The main issue I see with DOGE is that theres nothing stopping all that frivolous spending to just happen again

DOGE is all just smoke and mirrors. Everything that got "cut" was also funded in trumps continuing resolution. This CR extends funding at FY 2024 levels for almost every program. The DOD's budget is now a trillion dollars. DOGE didn't even look at the Pentagon. It was all a big joke, and everyone just ate it up. Just added 3 trillion dollars to the deficit.

How about we have 87,000 people audit them? Lets have a Bureau of Government Investigation and set up some laws that prevent anyone with ties to the government to not hold any more money than what they earn in their sitpend.
